How are women from the USA treated by Thai citizens?
My bf is from Thailand and we are going to be traveling there. We may stay only a couple of weeks, but we may decide to stay for about a year, depending on several circumstances. I was wondering what kind of treatment to expect from the citizens there. I have naturally blonde hair, blue eyes, and fair skin. I make friends easily here at home, but am curious how I would be accepted in Thailand. Thank you in advance for your answer.
US women are treated like women from Europe or Japan or whatever.
In tourist areas, you’ll be viewed as a tourist, i.e., an ATM with legs.
In remote rural areas, you’ll be viewed with friendly curiosity. Blonde hair is, of course, a rarity and I remember how people tried to touch the blonde hair on my arms (no head) as they’d never seen that before.
My advice is to smile a lot; be friendly and respectful & you’ll find yourself on a two-way street.
You cannot stay a year in Thailand as a tourist without proper visas (plural). The rules have been tightened and it is no longer possible to repeatedly make “visa runs” to get a new entry stamp and visa on arrival.

A friend asked me to compare Thai prostitutes to American women: Who are the worst whores? I told him that?
American women would win my vote:
Was I correct?
Where was your wife last night?
Does your girlfriend drink more than you?
Paris Hilton sex video = morals in the USA
They are the Best not the worst whores
What is Boxing Day?
Can someone explain Boxing Day to a Chinese-Thai woman living in the USA?
What is the origin of Boxing Day?
What countries recognize it?
What are the traditions and customs associated with Boxing Day?
PLEASE DO NOT COPY AND PASTE half a book from the Internet. Just explain in your own words. Thanks!
Bening a canadian born raised there till the age of ten, i know what grandmother told me is that’s when all the boxes and stuff are thrown away .from Christmas Day,that a legal holiday in Canada, I now live in the states. I do not know what country`s it from. But here in the states we do not have boxing day ,but we should , we also have the day after Chrismas sales. It`s just as crazy as Black Friday the day after Thanksgiving which is in NOVEMBER.
