Bringing An Asian Girl Back to Your Country

Many Westerners who meet a woman in Asia, or get into a passionate internet relationship, decide to bring the girl to their country and marry them.

Heed my advice on this. You should take your time and get to know her thoroughly. If you were with her in Asia for a week or two, or you were introduced to her through a dating agency, you probably experienced nothing but fun times together.

It’s when you take these women out of their environment, and bring them home to yours, that the problems can really start. I don’t mean to discourage you from going this route, but I do want to share some facts that you need to be aware of.

1 – Often, an Asian woman from a poor background will be ready to make the jump and migrate to your country. If you’re a marriage-minded guy and you choose the right woman, this can be a perfect scenario for you. They are eager and willing to find a Western husband and make a home with him, whether this means moving to the rural English countryside or a big American city.

2 – Although these women think they are eager to migrate to your country, it can be a different story once the reality of living in your country sets in. Be aware that you are transplanting them into a totally alien environment. They are being suddenly removed from their culture—their food, language, families and most importantly the camaraderie they share with other people.

Once they come to your country, they are suddenly “unplugged” from this network. If your girl is truly committed to you, and you are caring and sensitive to her feelings, then she should be able to get over the culture shock. But if she wasn’t 100% in love with you to begin with, you can expect her to turn into a whining, infuriating pain in the ass. You may quickly regret filling out those immigration forms and paying all that money.

3 – The larger the age gap between you and her, the greater the odds against your marriage working out in the long term. Over in Asia it’s common to see a foreigner in his 50s or 60s with an Asian girlfriend in her early 20s. But think about how this will be perceived by your friends, neighbors and co-workers. And this leads me to my next point…

4 – Don’t forget, the tables have been turned once she’s in your country. In Asia, a single foreign man like you is in high demand. But in your hometown, an exotic young babe like her is in outrageously high demand. While beautiful Asian women seem to grow on trees in the Philippines (and other Asian countries), just imagine how the guys in your town are going to react when they see this exotic young chick walking around. She will get hit on left and right—by rich guys, young guys, guys of her own race (who speak her language), you name it.

Again, if she’s 100% in love and committed, you’ll be ok…but if not, she will eventually give a guy her phone number, or email address…and then, the expiration on your relationship has been stamped. You probably won’t see it coming before it’s too late.

Your chances of long-term success with any Asian woman increase exponentially if she comes from a decent background, is educated, and has a solid work ethic. For example, some of the best-looking, smartest, hardest-working young women in the Philippines are nurses, or in nursing school. Marry one of these girls, and she can find a good job at one of your local hospitals. If her family back home requires financial assistance, she’ll be making more than enough cash to send some back to them. You won’t even need to worry about it.

Asian bride who comes from a poor family that is always breathing down her neck for money, and who has no desire to educate or improve herself, and I can virtually guarantee that it’s going to wind up taking a heavy toll on you–financially, and emotionally. Even if she’s content with the relationship, you’ll be wishing you could jump on a plane and go back to the Philippines to make a wiser choice!
